Poems of Sacrifice by P.D. Ouspensky, first edition

The three poems herein were excerpted from the manuscript Атись-Жертва Безкровная (Atis-The Bloodless Sacrifice), discovered in the P.D. Ouspensky Papers in the Manuscripts and Archives Department of the Sterling Memorial Library at Yale University. Atis is a two-volume novel set in Ancient Egypt, likely written by Ouspensky within the first decade of this century. The English translation was made by Agnes W Kuchuk and edited by Layne Negrin. For his insights, we offer sincere thanks to Victor Gamolsky.
