Themes III, A.L. Staveley and others

This will be the final volume of Themes. The three published books complete a cycle, placing in book form those themes we wish to share with readers, as well as to have for our own further study and usage.

The most important aspect of these themes, in particular the ones given by study groups and individuals other than Mrs Staveley, is the discussion that followed. This -which is essentially the other half of each theme - is not (and cannot) be presented in a book such as this. Just as these themes have been edited for the page - for reading, not listening to - they have additionally been selected on the basis of their usefulness for study and reflection, as well as to be worked on practically.

Many of the themes that provoked the liveliest discussions have not been included because they did not meet this criterion - their greatest value being the struggle made by the individuals and groups attempting to formulate the ideas of the work in the light of their own-often varied-experiences. (From the foreword)
